Hello everyone,

Welcome to your blog. This blog has three purposes, to write your comments in L2 (English for ULPGC sts) on it according to the topics presented, to read your partner's comments and to provide feedback in L1 (Spanish for ULPGC students), after having read your partner's comments, to your peers either in Australia or in Spain. Remember that L2 is the language that you are learning (Spanish for UQ students and English for ULPGC students) and L1 is your first language (Spanish for ULPGC sts and English for UQ sts). Some adding instructions are clearly explained below but if you have any questions please ask your teacher:

• Posts should be published on the blog and should have an extension of 60-80 words.

• Please make sure to publish your posts according to deadlines and to provide some feedback to your peer on time. They are usually looking forward to those encouraging words.

• Make sure to be positive and respectful when correcting your partner. 

•  Please upload a picture of you on your profile and write some info. about you. So we can all get to know each other online.

We hope that you have fun with this online experience and learn a lot from your partner and the group here and there. With this exercise, you are mainly enhancing your writing and reading skills, and learning a lot about a foreign country.

Bienvenidos al blog. Este blog tiene tres propósitos principales, escribir tus comentarios en L2 (español para los sts de UQ) en el blog según se presenten los temas, leer los comentarios de sus parejas y  dar feedback en L1 (inglés para los sts de UQ), después de haber leído los comentarios de sus parejas. Recuerden que L2 es el idioma que están aprendiendo (español para los estudiantes de UQ e inglés para los alumnos de ULPGC) y L1 es tu lengua nativa (español para ULPGC e inglés para UQ). Otras instrucciones se explican debajo pero si tienen alguna duda, no duden en preguntar a su profesora:

• Los comentarios deberían publicarse en el blog con un límite de palabras de 60-80.

• Por favor, asegúrense de publicar sus comentarios según las fechas tope y de dar feedback a sus parejas a tiempo. Normalmente están deseando leer palabras de mejora y ánimo.

• Sean respetuosos y positivos cuando hagan las correcciones a sus parejas.

• Por favor, suban una foto de ustedes reciente e información personal al perfil. Así podemos llegar a conocernos un poco mejor todos.

Esperamos que disfruten de esta experiencia en línea y aprendan mucho de sus parejas y de todo el grupo aquí y allá. Con este ejercicio, están desarrollando las habilidades de la escritura y la lectura, y están aprendiendo muchísimo sobre el país extranjero.
