LIFELONG LEARNING EXCHANGE/INTERCAMBIO DE APRENDIZAJE CONTINUO
as you know, we are planning to let this online space open to allow you the possibility of constant learning exchange. Thus, this blog is like a communal, bilingual diary in which we discuss about any contemporary topic and we are also aware of our learning process. The only suggestions I'd like to make are:
1. You can write your comments according to the topics presented by myself or by any other blog contributor, that is by any of you.
2. You can provide feedback to any member of our blog community. That is, you can continue working with your same peer or maintain new contacts with all blog participants. It will be nice and productive to open more dialogues!!
3. As this is optional, you could continue opening new topics for discussion every fortnight. I'll check on that and if nothing new is open, I'll do it myself.
4. If there is anyone who is not interested, please let me know!! This is absolutely optional. But it will be nice to know who is not participating.
5. The purpose of this activity is to offer you permanent learning exchange L2 (English), and at the same time, to exchange cultural context.
Thank you so much for your work and we hope you like to keep it up!! Regards!

Estimados participantes:
¡¡Saludos!!

Germany
The village I was brought up in during the first years has nothing spectacular to offer. It was the prettiest place on earth when I lived there with my family, because I have all those sweet childhood memories of that place: the large forest, the lakes, a big garden behind the house, people knowing each other by name, the family living close by. In my opinion, a small town is the best place for children to grow up. But yet, this is about recommending a place and I must confess that I would prefer to recommend you the next bigger city, which is Berlin. My grandparents lived in Berlin, so in some way, its my "hometown" also. As our mate Stephanie already explained: Berlin is great and definitely worth a visit, because of its diversity and historical background. There are several places you can still feel Berlin's past in. They really care about its importance in the German history.
I am looking forward to going to Berlin this summer, so how knwos, maybe we meet there.
Greetings, Isa.

¡Hola!

English and I
We got to know each other when I was eleven years old. I considered him interesting and funny but very complicated. Then we were sent on holiday together, which marked our relationship for ever. I learned a lot about him and how accessible he was if I only dedicated him some time and effort. In the last two years of high school we got on so well together that I decided to be with him five hours weekly and not just two. We had a great time and I really began to care about him. He explained me many things, such as music, which had always been a mystery to me before.
After finishing high school I disregarded English because other friends became more demanding. But as real love always goes, we found the way back to each other and now we are more united than we were before. Although he is still full of secrets and surprises. Isn't this the basic essence for an enduring relationship?
